Oh, man, and I enjoyed the freedom. Not the minus-you part but the minus-being-a-mom. It's funny that I then enjoyed the movie as well, and you didn't as much. How much does the experience affect the review?
Maybe part of it was that your showing was packed; I was completely alone in those first four rows and hardly anyone was making a peep in back that I could hear.
If we'd done a straight drama or an action/adventure that might not have mattered, but with all the humor in this one it felt kind of like one hand clapping to be doing all the laughing myself.
But yeah, maybe the sense of glum afterword came as much from the experience as from the movie, I'm not sure.
